Random thought....Saturday Morning Cartoon
It's Saturday morning and I had a craving for Strawberry Pop-tarts, so I made four. After popping them in the oven (I don't have a toaster, and really don't the want microwaves in my food), a great idea popped into my head. I thought to myself, "I could make this time like the Saturday morning cartoon situations I so fondly remember as a child!" Since I had not seen it, I decided to watch the final episode of Inspector Gadget. Man was I hype! After my grand setup for Saturday morning enjoyment and cartoon revelry, I have to say that I am pretty pissed that Penny, Brain, and Inspector Gadget never actually caught Dr. Claw. I mean they played golf with the guy in the presence of the chief, whose self-destructing top secret information was of no use. It's enough to drive a sane person MAD (Pun intended)!

Seriously speaking, a cartoon like Inspector Gadget that has been held in such high esteem should not have ended like that. There are children all over the world (who are adults now) who were just crushed by the ending of last episode. Thankfully, the blow was softened by the final episode's late release. According to Wikipedia , the cartoon originally ran from 1983 to 1986 and was revived a decade later in the 90's (when most people never expected to see the cartoon again anyway).
