Monday - Day 57 "Medical School Break..."

Hello all, it has been a while since my last post, but I have good reason for the extended leave. Currently, I am hustling to put together my medical school application and it is coming together nicely. I have until this Friday to get it submitted. I will surely be happy when this thing is over. In the meantime though, I want to make sure I am giving it my full attention. That probably means no posts this week (kinda like last week, huh? lol!). Anyway, thank you guys for hanging in their with me. I also thank you those of you who have been rooting for my acceptance to medical school from the begining. Alright! Until the next post...

Thursday "I love My Friends" - Day 45

This post is dedicated to the Vision Casters Network. You know, it really helps when someone encourages you to keep doing something, because you know whatever you're doing must be, at the very least, admirable to that person. Well, I have been encouraged and inspired to move my drawings to another level and to continue pouring my heart into this journey. Thanks to www.visioncastersnetwork.net I have just a bit more validation for the consistent work I've been doing. AND THE WORK IS SO EASY! lol! I am putting more and more effort into making my drawings look appropriate (whatever that means. lol!) and into finding things of substance to discuss in my text-only posts.

Thanks to all of you who supporter this site. I hope it's been entertaining! Stay Tuned!

Sunday - Day 36

There has been a slight hiccup in the uploading process for my Timmy Turner Sketch video. I will have to post it Monday or Tuesday (most likely Monday)....man! This time I will make sure to save the file properly.

In the meantime, I thought you guys should know that I have been offered a couple of cartooning projects, one of which is a voiceover role (which means I play the voice of a cartoon character...for those who didn't know, lol!) for an amazing cartoonist. Right now I cannot tell everything, but I will be sure to fill you guys in on my developments voiceover and all! I am really enjoying this journey, guys. Thank you for your support.

Friday & Saturday Posts - Days 27 and 28

Today's post comes from a very thoughtful mood. I have received a lot of information concerning my blog over the past few days. I am making use of all this helpful information because I am serious about becoming a cartoonist who changes people's lives. A student of mine saw my cartoon blog and thought it was pretty awesome. This student was the one who gave me all of the suggestions. I was really amazed that my journey to becoming a cartoonist would have me cross paths with a kid who would give me insight that would sky rocket my confidence, thinking, and persistence to achieve my goal. I don't think I'll draw anything today. I will just relish in this moment and consider ways to move forward. Once I have finalized my thinking, I will start back to work. I thank those of you have persisted with me up to this point. I told you to stick with me and you did just that. Now you can see that you will not be disappointed. Hang in there......

Adults and Cartoons - Days 21 & 22

Hello All,

Today in church I was cartooning my notes and discovered the lady next to me staring over my shoulder at a quick sketch of an animal. Then it hit me! Cartoons are not just for kids but adults too!......ok.....I actually already knew that. lol! Above are my notes along with the drawings that I sketched. Enjoy!

Tuesday's Comment - Day 17

Today there is no picture or video. I just want to comment on the way things have been progressing. I feel good about my increasing sketching abilities. They are proving to be better than what I expected. It is not that my expectations were low or anything, but I am seeing a greater level of clarity in my finished products. I think I will keep drawing pictures until the end of September. Then I will price a computerized sketch pad/graphics tablet and purchase the most cost effective one. After a while of practicing on this art instrument my sketching ability should elevate to a "Ho Nuva Level" (Keegan Michael Key). lol!

I am eternally thankful to the member of my blog who suggested this graphics tablet. I have seen it in action and will be ready to purchase it soon. I am telling you guys! Keep up with me because I am going to reach my goal sooner than you think! lol! Thanks yall!
