Okay! So far I have posted a video and a good number of pictures to begin my journey. So we're good.
Now I have two questions. The majority of the videos I watch on youtube or television show cartoonists who draw with amazing speed. Is this common? If so, how long will it take before I can get there?

After trying a speed drawing of Tom (from Tom and Jerry), and literally taking 10 minutes to do it, I realized that cartooning speed is something I will have to work on. LOL!
ReplyDeleteAbout those questions, I think once a cartoonist has practiced enough he or she can crank out pictures in no time. It also depends on the cartoonist's familiarity with the character. If it's an original character drawn for the first time, it will take longer than a drawing of a known character. Good lesson, let's keep movin'!
