Today I had to remember that life is what you make it. I am at the crossroads of a major decision in my job. A work load that was supposed to be done by two people has now been avoided to by one and left for the other. Guess which lucky one I am. That's right! I'm the sucker who was stuck with the remainder of the work, but I don't have to be. That is where the decision comes in. Instead of doing the work and becoming frustrated, I have decided to confront the other person and work out an alternating schedule that works for the both of us. That way I don't have to be mean and unprofessional, but sure-footed and fair. I always want people to know that I am willing to help but never to be a door mat. I am sure this type of attitude is one I will have to maintain, and even refine when business picks up with my cartooning. Thank God I am practicing it now, right?
